Mirror Me

2012-13

Wood, mirror, steel and rubber

We have expectations to other people and often compare them to ourselves. Mirror Me has been made in order to help a conversation between two people. Both parts can feel very secure in their communication; One hiding behind a shield, the other seeing the very familiar face of one self.

Only in reality the mask does not give that comfort to the participants.

What do we expect from others and what would it take to make them perfect?
