Pure Interaction, 2013, Three videos at 6-7 min each

Normally a glassblower would take the lead and control what happens to glass. Here I have removed the glassblower and left it to the interaction of a mushroom with hot glass to determine the outcome: The moisture from the mushroom causes the glass to expand and the heat of the glass affects the shape. As the glass cools, it seems to become a static object, but constant pressure from the steam of the mushroom gives tension to the object and the glass finally explodes.
